North Carolina just held a special session to propose a bill that will be voted on by constituents next May...the State House and Senate both approved a bill that would approve an amendment not only banning gay marriage and civil unions, but also not recognizing such unions performed and sanctioned in other states. Our governor is a liberal Democrat, but stonewalled by a Republican legislature. Oh, the humanity!
I keep telling myself, "These pandering evildoers will pay. At some point they will pay for their crimes against other humans." Sure hope I'm not lying to myself.
